SEA Prime has opened a new wing of the Milano Linate Prime Terminal, featuring passenger lounge areas and expanded parking. The project was launched in December 2024.
Nine glass-walled lounges overlooking the apron and landside have been created in the new wing for a total of 2,000 square metres (21,528 square feet). The lounges have been assigned to Italian and international business aviation operators, who will customize them according to their architectural and service standards.
SEA Prime managed 35,900 business aviation movements in 2025, an increase of 7% at Milano Linate Prime compared to 2024. In the early months of 2026, driven by the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, traffic has grown 13.5% compared to 2025, with peaks of over 130 movements per day.
The project involved restyling existing infrastructures, creating new spaces and widening entrances. The airside and landside façades feature a corrugated metal surface. The main hall includes a skylight and concierge desk.
The new wing includes photovoltaic panels, low-impact air conditioning and an air management system that monitors carbon dioxide levels to optimize air circulation. The project revitalized existing structures including an aircraft hangar.
The project was financed by the SEA Group and carried out by RTI led by Gencantieri and CEFLA Società Cooperativa, and designed by architectural firms SAB, CREW and Incide.
“With the inauguration of the new Milan Linate Prime terminal, we confirm the SEA Group’s commitment to infrastructure development and strengthening the competitiveness of the Milan airport system,” said Armando Brunini, chief executive and general manager of SEA.
Chiara Dorigotti, chief executive and general manager of SEA Prime, said the inauguration in the year of the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics confirms commitment to meeting demand for business aviation services and infrastructures.
SEA Prime manages business and general aviation infrastructures at Linate and Malpensa airports with the Milano Prime brand. Milano Prime managed 36,900 business aviation movements in 2025.
