FAI Aviation Group has added a second Bombardier Global 6000 to its fleet this year, bringing its total Bombardier business jet fleet to 18 aircraft.
The aircraft (D-AFAN, MSN 9471) has logged only 900 flight hours and will be based at FAI’s Nuremberg headquarters. It is available for immediate worldwide charter. The acquisition was completed five weeks after the letter of intent was signed.
The Global 6000 is the seventh Bombardier Global-series aircraft operated by FAI and is equipped with Gogo Galileo connectivity. Its three-zone cabin accommodates up to 14 passengers, with a range of more than 6,000nm (11,112km) enabling routes such as London to Dubai, Frankfurt to Singapore and Geneva to New York.
“The addition of our second Global 6000 further strengthens our ability to meet growing demand for long-range charter solutions,” said Siegfried Axtmann, founder and chairman of FAI Aviation Group.
FAI has operated Bombardier Global aircraft since 2010. The Nuremberg-based company also recently completed its Learjet 60 to 60XR fleet renewal program.
