FCG OPS is positioning its international trip support capabilities as a standalone service offering, building on 26 years of operational experience that already sees the company manage approximately 20,000 flight legs and obtain more than 5,000 permits annually.
The development is supported by the appointment of Ilaria Iacobini as business development manager for EMEA, tasked with developing relationships with operators and introducing FCG OPS’s trip support capabilities across the region.
While FCG OPS has been known primarily as an outsourced OCC and ground handling provider, the company said trip support has been a core part of its day-to-day operations for many years. Its ground handling network spans Europe, Asia and Africa, with operational capabilities extending worldwide.
“For us, developing trip support is a natural evolution of what FCG OPS has been doing for many years,” said Yuri Nadezhdin, director of business development. “Operators are not simply looking for another supplier. They need a partner who understands the operational pressure, takes responsibility and knows how to find a solution when plans change or challenges arise.”
The service model allows customers to use FCG OPS for selected services or as an end-to-end trip coordination partner. The company’s 24/7 operations team is trained in accordance with ICAO Doc 10106 competency-based standards for flight dispatchers. FCG OPS also offers live operational visibility through its FCG ATOM platform, with continued investment in automation and AI-supported tools.
Iacobini said: “This is a great opportunity to join a company with a highly experienced operations team and a strong commitment to delivering first-class aviation handling and trip support services.”
