FlyHouse has appointed Adam Smith as president of 3P Broker Development and Operator Relations. The role focuses on expanding FlyHouse’s third-party broker and operator network.
Under Smith’s leadership, FlyHouse will increase third-party broker affiliates on its digital platform for brokers. The platform is free for brokers to use.
“Our goal is to make private aviation transactions not just transparent, but to eliminate unnecessary costs artificially driving up pricing on consumers,” said Jack Lambert Jr, chief executive of FlyHouse. “Our 3P marketplace is free for brokers, unlike other platforms that are designed to charge brokers per transaction, requiring either the broker to absorb the costs or pass it on to the consumer.”
FlyHouse has acquired Jetsmith, an advisory firm, as part of the leadership appointment. Smith has served travelers and family offices for more than 23 years. He manages trips from booking to landing. Smith and his team will lead and grow the business within FlyHouse.
In his role, Smith will oversee FlyHouse’s 3P platform, the company’s third-party marketplace for brokers. The platform brings sourcing, sales and operator access into one system, connecting brokers, sales teams and operators. Smith will lead broker development, operator partnerships and strategic relationships.
Alex Caruso has been named director of 3P and will help drive adoption of the platform. Caruso brings relationships and operational expertise to the role.
“Adam has built his career the right way, one relationship at a time,” Lambert said. “His reputation for trust and accountability mirrors how we operate at FlyHouse. Bringing him into a leadership role and welcoming Jetsmith into the platform allows us to scale that approach across a much broader network.”
Smith said FlyHouse shares his approach to private aviation. “Joining the team gives us the ability to keep that personal approach while offering greater reach, resources, and opportunity across the platform,” he said.
