Platinum Business Aviation Centre has partnered with Mondrian Gold Coast to create a hotel-branded lounge within its private aviation terminal at Gold Coast Airport in Australia.
The Mondrian Lounge at Platinum will offer a hotel-designed environment for passengers and crew before departure or after arrival, blending Mondrian’s hospitality and design approach with Platinum’s existing FBO services. The companies said it is the first collaboration between a luxury hotel brand and an FBO in Australia or New Zealand.
“By partnering with Mondrian Gold Coast, we are bringing together world-class aviation services and world-renowned luxury hospitality to create something truly unique for our guests,” said Joe Stenning, general manager of Platinum Business Aviation Centre. “This is the first time in Australia or New Zealand that an FBO and a luxury lifestyle hotel brand have collaborated in this way, and we’re proud to lead that innovation from the Gold Coast.”
Letitia Vitale, co-managing partner of Vitale Property Group and co-owner of Mondrian Gold Coast, said the collaboration aligned with the hotel brand’s focus on design and lifestyle. “Partnering with Platinum allows us to extend that philosophy directly into the private aviation journey,” she said.
The lounge is expected to serve private jet owners, charter guests and international visitors arriving at Gold Coast Airport.
