Gulfstream has announced a US$5 million investment in Georgia education for 2026, funding programs across Savannah-area schools, technical colleges and universities aimed at developing the next generation of aviation professionals.
The investment, which Gulfstream said it makes annually, supports K-12 programs, dual enrollment opportunities for high school students, technical college training and university research. The company said the initiative is designed to strengthen its local talent pipeline and introduce students to careers in business aviation.
“Developing a strong local talent pipeline is essential to our future, and we are grateful for our educational partners who help prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed,” said Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream.
The announcement was made at a Discover the Difference event at Gulfstream’s Savannah headquarters, where guests were given access to the company’s fleet.
Gulfstream employs more than 13,000 people in Georgia, including nearly 2,500 engineers and R&D professionals based in Savannah. Aerospace is Georgia’s largest international export sector, with the state surpassing US$60 billion in exports in 2025.
