Orlando-based charter operator Northern Jet has achieved IS-BAO Stage 1 registration following a three-day audit of its flight operations, policies, procedures and safety management system. The registration is valid through August 2028.
The accreditation adds to Northern Jet’s existing safety credentials, which include ARGUS Platinum status, Wyvern Wingman PRO certification and SMS Level 4 assessment under Wyvern’s evaluation framework.
“IS-BAO registration reflects the work our team has put into strengthening Northern Jet’s systems, processes, safety practices and culture,” said Tim Reeve, director of safety at Northern Jet.
CEO Chris Bull said the registration supports the company’s expanding international capabilities. Northern Jet added its first Gulfstream G550 to its fleet in July, introducing an ultra-long-range aircraft with an approximately 6,500nm (12,038km) range for transatlantic and long-haul missions.
