Private aviation group Voluxis has been granted an air operator certificate from Transport Malta’s Civil Aviation Directorate, adding a third AOC to its portfolio alongside existing UK (G-reg) and San Marino (T7-reg) certifications.
The Malta AOC is Voluxis’s first EASA certificate and provides access to commercial operations within Europe.
“We see Malta as an important part of our aircraft management strategy providing full access to commercial operations within Europe,” said Warren Gravell, CEO of Voluxis. “Our clients have the choice between the UK, San Marino and now Malta to register their aircraft, with each AOC having a slightly different list of benefits. It is the perfect AOC for owners who primarily fly in Europe, offering greater operational flexibility.”
Charles Pace, director general for civil aviation at Transport Malta, said: “I would like to congratulate Voluxis Malta Ltd on this achievement. We look forward to seeing the airline continue to grow in the coming months.”
