W Aviation has signed a new 30-year lease at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE), securing more than 13 acres and paving the way for a significant expansion of its facilities.
The expansion includes two new 20,000sq ft (1,858sq m) high-tail hangars engineered for large-cabin and ultra-long-range business jets, nearly three additional acres of ramp space and enhanced airside infrastructure. The development is notable at KFXE, where available land for new aviation development is limited, with W Aviation redesigning its existing leasehold to create additional capacity.
W Aviation currently operates a 20,000sq ft-plus executive terminal and five aircraft hangars at the airport. The FBO is a member of the AEG Connect network.
“This new 30-year lease marks an exciting chapter for W Aviation and reflects our confidence in the future of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport and the South Florida business aviation market,” said Ignacio Martinez, CEO of W Aviation. “With our existing luxury terminal, five premium hangars, and the addition of two new large-aircraft hangars and nearly three acres of ramp space, we are positioning W Aviation to better serve our current customers while welcoming the next generation of business aviation aircraft and operators.”
