The Air Charter Association (ACA) has become the 17th organization to join Climbing Fast, the international advocacy campaign promoting the economic and societal value of business aviation.
The partnership was announced at the ACA’s European Regional Forum at AERO Friedrichshafen, taking place from April 22 to 25.
Climbing Fast was launched in 2023 by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and operates as a coalition of industry bodies working to inform policymakers and opinion leaders about business aviation’s contributions to employment, economic development, connectivity and sustainability.
“As we continue to expand our presence across the US, initiatives like Climbing Fast ensure we can better coordinate our air charter advocacy efforts with our industry partners,” said Glenn Hogben, chief executive of the ACA. “The air charter industry is a significant driver of employment, economic growth and technological innovation around the world, and it is important we continue to get that message across.”
Ed Bolen, president and CEO of NBAA, said: “Business aviation is a global industry, and having the ACA aboard will strengthen our international presence and expand our opportunities for advocacy.”
The ACA represents more than 450 member companies across 64 countries. It is the latest organisation to join the coalition, following the British Business and General Aviation Association (BBGA) and the Irish Business & General Aviation Association (IBGAA), which both joined in 2025.
Other Climbing Fast members include the Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA), the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and the National Air Transport Association (NATA), among others.
