Gulfstream Aerospace has received certification from the Government of India’s Office of the Director General of Civil Aviation for the Gulfstream G700. The certification clears the path for customer deliveries in India.
The G700 follows the Gulfstream G600 and Gulfstream G500 India certifications that were received in the second half of 2025.
“We are seeing strong momentum in India as interest in our next-generation aircraft continues to grow,” said Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream. “The advanced technology and safety features of our visionary fleet, combined with outstanding range, speed and cabin environment, are major differentiators for customers.”
The G700 can fly 7,750 nautical miles (14,353 kilometres) at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nautical miles (12,316 kilometres) at Mach 0.90. The aircraft can link New Delhi to New York at Mach 0.87 or Mumbai to London at Mach 0.90. The G700 has achieved more than 90 city-pair speed records to date.
The G700 features the Gulfstream Cabin Experience with 100 percent fresh air, natural light from 20 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows and low cabin altitudes at high elevations. Customers can select from interior options including internet connectivity packages, a circadian lighting system, an ultragalley with more than 10 feet (3 metres) of counter space, or a grand suite featuring a fixed bed and shower.
The G500 and G600 feature Gulfstream’s Symmetry Flight Deck with active control sidesticks and touch-screen technology. More than 370 G500 and G600 aircraft are in service globally. The aircraft have achieved more than 150 city-pair speed records combined.
