The Business Aviation Coalition for Sustainable Aviation Fuel is encouraging aircraft operators to use sustainable aviation fuel for flights to COP30 in Belém, Brazil, this November.
More than 100 fixed-base operations worldwide offer direct sustainable aviation fuel uplift. Book-and-claim systems provide additional options for operators to address emissions and support future fuel production.
The coalition comprises over 20 companies and trade associations focused on scaling sustainable aviation fuel adoption. Members encourage operators globally to contact fuel providers, fixed-base operations and sustainability advisors to identify fuel options for COP30 flights and future missions.
According to the coalition, business aviation has adopted sustainable aviation fuel through both physical uplift and book-and-claim systems. The book-and-claim process allows operators to purchase fuel credits when direct uplift is unavailable at specific locations.
COP30 will convene in Brazil this November to address climate change issues. The coalition promotes sustainable aviation fuel as a method for reducing emissions in air travel.
