Jet Aviation has launched full operations at its new FBO at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, its 12th in the US, following an opening event on July 23.
The 27-acre facility features an 8,500sq ft (790sq m) terminal, 40,000sq ft (3,716sq m) of hangar space with 30ft (9.1m) doors and a 540,000sq ft (50,168sq m) ramp capable of accommodating large-cabin, ultra-long-range business jets. The site has two taxiway connections, drive-on ramp access via a private entrance, and fueling with Jet A, 100LL and sustainable aviation fuel. On-site Customs and Border Protection is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2026.
Jet Aviation launched initial operations at the site in November 2025 using a temporary terminal building. The permanent facility is built to LEED standards and incorporates solar panels, LED lighting, EV chargers and low-flow water features.

Jet Aviation has had a presence in South Florida since opening an FBO in Palm Beach in 1985. The company operates approximately 30 FBOs worldwide and recently signed a 30-year lease for a new FBO at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Colorado, scheduled to open in 2028.
