Five Rivers Jet Center has taken over the sole FBO at Central Wyoming Regional Airport (KRIW) in Riverton, marking the company’s second location alongside its flagship Five Rivers Aviation at Livermore Municipal Airport (KLVK) in California. The FBO has joined the Avfuel-branded network.
The existing 18,650sq ft (1,733sq m) facility will undergo renovations including a new lobby, 15 individual offices, a pilot lounge, full kitchen and private showers. A 10,000sq ft (929sq m) heated hangar accommodates aircraft with wingspans up to 60ft (18.3m). Five Rivers is also introducing a full complement of ground support equipment including de-icing capabilities.
“Expanding to Riverton is an exciting opportunity to bring the Five Rivers experience to a new market,” said Pete Sandhu, CEO of Five Rivers. “We’re excited to build upon the facility and services already in place and enhance our offerings for the central Wyoming aviation community.”
The airport is located approximately 120 miles east of Jackson, Wyoming, and serves SkyWest, regional cargo carriers and general aviation traffic. Five Rivers’ California location at Livermore serves as a tech stop for Hawaii-bound flights.
