FAI Technik, the MRO subsidiary of FAI Aviation Group, has been appointed an authorized dealer and installer of SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet system for business aviation at its facility at Albrecht Durer Airport Nuremberg.

FAI Technik, the MRO subsidiary of FAI Aviation Group, has been appointed an authorized dealer and installer of SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet system for business aviation at its facility at Albrecht Durer Airport Nuremberg.

The company completed its first Starlink installation on a Bombardier Global Express XRS in June and has further installations scheduled across the FAI fleet. The service is also available to external aircraft owners and operators.

“As demand for high-speed, reliable connectivity continues to grow across the business aviation sector, we expect Starlink to become a highly attractive addition to the range of services and solutions we offer aircraft owners and operators,” said Michael Axtmann, managing director of FAI Technik.

Starlink adds to FAI Technik’s existing connectivity installation capabilities, which include Gogo Galileo, Honeywell Ka-band and Collins Ku-band systems. FAI Technik is an EASA Part 145 maintenance organization.
