Universal Aviation Italy has earned IS-BAH Stage II accreditation at three locations: Rome Ciampino Airport (LIRA), Milan Linate Airport (LIML) and Milan Malpensa Airport (LIMC).
The accreditation, achieved during Italy’s busy summer peak season, validates that the operator’s safety management system is consistently applied in daily operations across all three airports. Universal Aviation Italy provides full ground handling support at the three locations, with on-site supervision also available at Venice (LIPZ) and coordination services for operators flying elsewhere in Italy.
“Achieving IS-BAH Stage II at Rome and both Milan locations is a proud moment for our entire Italy team, especially as we are right in the heart of one of our busiest operating periods,” said Lorena Carraro, managing director of Universal Aviation Italy.
The Italian accreditations add to Universal Aviation’s growing IS-BAH footprint, which now includes Stage II at locations in Spain (Madrid), Mexico (Mexico City/Toluca), and Costa Rica (San Jose and Liberia), Stage I at Singapore Changi and Seletar, and Stage III at London Stansted. The company also recently achieved Stage II in Madrid ahead of the Madrid Grand Prix in September.
Adolfo Aragon, CEO of Universal Aviation, said: “IS-BAH is not just a certificate on the wall. It is a reflection of how a team operates, communicates, identifies risk and continuously improves.”
Universal Aviation operates more than 75 locations across over 20 countries.
